Materials: only if you are on Facebook

"Many Second Life users love their avatar identity so sign up other online networks such as Linkedin and Twitter, using the name of their avatar. But Second Life enthusiasts who register for Facebook under the name of your digital alter ego must be careful: the Syndey Morning Herald reports that Facebook is closing the accounts that you suspect does not represent the real names (or, rather, the Real Life ).

the same head follows the story of Elmo Keep, who was banned from the site without warning when Facebook officials suspected that his name (but it is ... real!) Were false. Only by providing copies of official identity documents to Facebook she has managed to restore your account. The general manager of Facebook Sheryl Sandberg explained that "one can not be on Facebook without being yourself." Or, he said peremptorily, "I cast out." You can not say how many false identity on Facebook, but you can bet on that are few. Meanwhile, the Syndey Morning Herald has published a number of illustrious names mistakenly thrown out by the social network: the U.S. political blogger Jon Swift, Japanese author Hiroko Yoda, the British parliamentary Steve Webb, Australian graphic designer Beta Yee, falling in a list with names such as Podcasts, Beaver, Jelly, Beer and Duck. Surely the world of the metaverse goers will not take kindly to the lack of recognition of their virtual identities, often have very specific connotations and conduct independent from their mentor in real life. Of course, with this measure, Facebook is proving inadequate to collect on your network even these identities. What seems to have rather a lot to say of himself in the real world. But it is just one example of lack of communication between real and virtual worlds. The question is, will last long? The fact that some people feel the need to know in life 'real' what they do in their size 'virtual' means that you are probably starting to feel the need to break down this barrier.
